Bart Depreitere works as a neurosurgeon at the University Hospitals Leuven, and is chairman of the multidisciplinary spine care programme. He is professor at the Faculty of Medicine in KU Leuven, and lectures on spinal pathology for physiotherapy students and neurosurgery for medical students. He is actively committed to several national and international societies in the fields of spinal surgery and neurosurgery.
