The Art of Law was curated and coordinated by art historian Vanessa Paumen, coordinator of the Flemish Research Centre for the Arts of the Burgundian Netherlands at the Groeningemuseum in Bruges, along with fellow art historian Tine VanPoucke, the museum's education and outreach officer. The curators were advised by art historian Stefan Huygebaert, who is currently completing a PhD in legal iconography at Ghent University, and by Georges Martyn, Professor of Legal History at Ghent University and honorary barrister of the Ghent bar and substitute magistrate (justice of the peace).
